Hello, world — again
Why I'm starting a personal site in 2026, and what I plan to put here.
Every Android developer has written a “Hello, World” at some point. This is mine, for the next chapter.
I’ve wanted a home on the internet for a while — not a portfolio, not a resume, but a place where I can write things down and come back to them later. Notes from work. Thoughts about AI and where mobile engineering is heading. Books that changed how I think. Places I’ve been.
Why now?
Two reasons.
- I’m changing direction. I’ve spent years building Android apps, and I want to explore how AI fits into mobile. Writing is the best way I know to learn something properly.
- Memory is leaky. I want a diary I’ll actually keep — and making it public is a nice nudge to keep it honest.
Write it down. Future you will be grateful.
What to expect
Some posts will be long, technical, and full of code. Others will be three paragraphs about a train ride. Both belong here.
If you want to follow along, there’s an RSS feed. Thanks for reading.
